This simplified stock design provides a decrease in weight, length-of-pull and overall complexity.
The stock intended for 16" rifles (16" Simplified Stock) is approx. 154g and has a length of 2.625"
The stock intended for 18" or 20" rifles (18" or 20" Simplified Stock) is approx. 121g and has a length of 2"
In comparison the factory stock is 298g and has a length of 3.125"
The Gen 2 Simplified Stock uses the OEM buffer, just pull it out with some needle nose pliers.
These will require a punch set, or hammer and hated Allen Wrench, and transferring of the hardware to the new stock.
IF YOU HAVE A 16" RIFLE BUY THE '16" SIMPLIFIED STOCK'!
DO NOT BUY THE 18" OR 20" SIMPLIFIED STOCK IF YOU HAVE A 16" RIFLE!
The stocks are specific to barrel lengths for overall length considerations. The stock intended for 16" rifles makes the overall length around 26.5". I added the .5", or so, to ensure that I'm NOT selling a stock to someone making their rifle a short-barrel rifle.
Bambu Labs PAHT-CF's layer adhesion is around double the strength of 5.56 recoil (in joules). These were tested regardless, supported (against the shoulder) and unsupported, to ensure that they would hold up to recoil.
